Led by Specialist Orthodontist, Dr Hashmat Popat, our team provide traditional braces and Invisalign clear aligners to the Warrnambool community. We love helping kids and adults of all ages achieve a smile that looks good and functions well.
Specialist Orthodontist
Dr Hashmat Popat
Dr Hash as his patients refer to him completed his dental and specialist orthodontic training in the UK, working in Bristol, Cardiff, Sheffield and Manchester. He spent 10 years working at Cardiff University where he also completed a PhD.
In 2016 Hash relocated to Australia with his family and now runs three successful orthodontic practices in Geelong, Hoppers Crossing and Warrnambool. Hash opened the Warrnambool practice in 2022 to make top-quality orthodontic treatment more accessible for the local community.
Away from the clinic, Hash enjoys mountain biking, travelling and spending time with his family. Hash feels privileged to be surrounded by inspiring female duos. He has two daughters, two sisters, two sisters-in-law, two nieces and two cavoodles (both female)!
Treatment Coordinator
Lucie
You’ll get to know Lucie pretty well when you get your orthodontic treatment with us. She’ll be your first port of call on your smile journey, making sure you have all the support and information you need.
Lucie has spent the last 20 years expanding her knowledge and skills as a dental and orthodontic assistant as well as our Treatment Coordinator. Her vast experience means she can provide you with trusted advice on your treatment plan, how Invisalign clear aligners and braces work, the role of retainers, and your appointment sequence.
Lucie loves helping our patients feel comfortable, relaxed and informed. When she’s not at the clinic, Lucies enjoys spending time with her two kids, shopping and indulging her love of interior design.
Oral Health Therapist
Jacinta
Jacinta works alongside Dr Hash to ensure your treatment plan progresses smoothly and achieves the best possible outcome. Jacinta loves working with children and has a particular passion for helping children overcome their dental anxiety. If your child is a patient of ours, you know they’re in great hands with Jacinta.
Jacinta completed her Bachelor of Oral Health at The University of Melbourne in 2018. After graduation, Jacinta worked at South West Healthcare looking after adult and child clients in the community setting.
In her spare time, Jacinta enjoys cooking and paddle-boarding, as well as spoiling her dog, Charlie.
