Dental Monitoring

Dental Monitoring® is a remote orthodontic monitoring system that allows your orthodontic team at Warrnambool Orthodontic Hub to monitor your treatment progress between appointments.

Using the Dental Monitoring app on your smartphone and your ScanBox pro, you take regular photos of your teeth from home. These scans are analysed and reviewed by your treating clinician, who can provide personalised feedback and instructions through the app.

Dental Monitoring helps us stay connected with your orthodontic journey, identify when you may need an in-person appointment and potentially reduce unnecessary trips to the practice.

Dental Monitoring allows our orthodontic team to monitor your progress between appointments using regular scans taken at home. This may reduce unnecessary trips to the practice, as appointments can be planned around your individual treatment needs. You’ll still need to attend in-person appointments when clinical care or adjustments are required.

You’ll need a smartphone, the Dental Monitoring app and your ScanBox pro to take photos of your teeth when prompted. As part of your treatment start appointment, our team will onboard you to Dental Monitoring and show you how to use the app and complete your scans. The app guides you through each scan, which is then analysed and reviewed by your treating clinician. Completing your scans regularly and following the instructions provided helps our team monitor your progress throughout your orthodontic journey.
